Forty Acre Club

America’s Gateway Family Nudist Club

Your First Visit...

The Forty Acre Club has been operating a nudist resort just outside of St. Louis, MO since 1951.  The resort is situated on 80 acres of Ozark woodlands.

During the week, you’ll enjoy a quiet, peaceful experience without many other people.  On the weekends it’s a bit more active and attended.

While at the club, you’ll find many activities, or feel free to just lounge by the 26′ x 50′ in ground, heated saltwater swimming pool.  The pool deck has plenty of sunshine, plus a portion of it is covered with a special UV protective overhead screen. Most Saturdays and Sundays there are fun-spirited water volleyball games (no skill is required). The grounds include a miniature golf course, pool table, Wii, lighted pickleball courts, horseshoe pits, dart pavilion, petanque court, a community room with TV, shuffleboard table, ping pong table, a hot tub, showers and secluded walking trails.  Or, maybe you’ll choose to enjoy the serenity of just sitting by our pond, gazing at the reflection of the trees on the water and listening to the birds.  There is even a chance you’ll catch a glimpse of a deer coming to quench its thirst.

Typical weekend evenings start with a happy hour around the pool and might include a bonfire in our firepit.  One or two times a month the club puts on a dinner or hosts a potluck, often accompanied by a dance.  Members will welcome people to their lots for socializing and card or domino games will form in our clubhouse.

Unlike your community pool, you will find people who are welcoming and grateful you’ve chosen to spend time at the Forty Acre Club.  Nudists tend to be a bit more extroverted than most.

Everyone on the grounds can expect to be treated with respect and not receive sexual advances or unwelcomed attention.  If someone makes you uncomfortable, call it to the attention to one of our board members, who will probably introduce themselves to you at some time during the day, and the situation will be promptly handled.  Couples are welcome without reservations.  Single males need to make a reservation before coming to the club.

If you want to spend the night, tent sites, RV parking and cabins may be rented.  Check out our reservation page for availability.  Commercial hotels are also available in nearby St. Clair.

If you choose to check us out, bring a smile, towels to sit on and to use at the pool, personal care items, shoes (we have gravel roads), any food or beverages you wish and camping equipment.  For safety reasons, glass containers are not permitted around the pool. If you need a plastic cup to transfer your drink into, ask a member.  We have ice and water for sale.  The club includes a community kitchen and grills at our tent sites that you may want to use to prepare food.  There are picnic tables spread throughout the grounds and under our large pavilion.  Most warm weekends the club operates a snack bar over the lunch hour (if you plan to use it, it might be a good idea to call the morning of your visit to make sure it’s open).  There is a coffee bar, including a wide selection of hot teas in our clubhouse.

We hope you enjoy the freedom of American nudism, take home fond memories and come back to visit the Forty Acre Club soon.i
