About David
Our instructor David has had over 41 years of teaching experience in higher education. In that time he has taught at three of the major higher educational institutions within the St. Louis area. He has also taught for five years at the St. Louis Art Museum in their education program. His teaching centered on painting, drawing, color theory, design but also included multiple courses in Art History.
David currently maintains a studio practice in St. Louis where he is creating new work on a daily basis. His practice also includes curating art exhibits and exhibiting at museums and galleries throughout the country. The most recent endeavor secured a landscape exhibit for a major Missouri museum exhibition that includes over 27 Midwest artists. David runs two drawing groups out of his studio every Tuesday evening and Friday afternoon where any number of artists might be there to participate.
